fuck. politically motivated stenciling and billboard defacement just got a whole lot more expensive. have i mentioned before how i CANNOT STAND annette king??? i'm really sick of this hysteria over tagging. its not that big a deal. its definitely not worth a 2000 dollar fine. stupid propertarians < / ursula le guin >

i wish they were talking about ADEVERTISING with the following statements

"It is an invasion of private and public property that is often intimidating and anti-social,"

"It can't be considered art, it is often mindless scrawl that causes great financial and emotional cost which the perpetrators seem to care nothing about."

Advertising "helps create an environment in which people think they don't have to respect the rights of others,"

"It's ugly and offensive and it makes a town look like s***,"

bloody propertarians!

Word! But I feel the unimaginative patch-pissing of the typical tagger (= non-thinking graffiti artist) is equally as bad... they should both be fined!

When I read that, I thought to steal the idea and turn it into a comic (because I'm a dirty thief) and then I realised I'd all ready done one:
